MOVEMENT / STRENGTH PLANS

These land based training plans complement our online coaching, triathlon and single sport plans and require minimal equipment and space.

All movements within the plans are suitable for home training or whilst travelling. The focus is on moving and activating the key muscles / muscle groups and joints appropriately for the sport. By following the movements described through full ranges of motion you will:

  • promotes movement efficiency
  • improve posture and alignment
  • improve coordination and awareness

All you need is a stretch cord (or resistance tube, Thera band, power band, etc) and a broom or mop handle.

Each training plan contains movements that will promote overall efficiency (posture, alignment, strength). The movements are NOT triathlon/sport specific since attempting to replicate “exact” movements yields limited benefits compared to incorporating basic compound movements that use large muscle groups in cooperation with each other.
